Having an understanding of the regional market will enable you to work effectively and efficiently, providing an edge in driving growth and expanding relationships within the region.
Job Description:
- Proactively hunt for and acquire new partners to grow the customer base.
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve revenue and market growth targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for expansion in the B2B travel industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and other channel partners.
- Present tailored solutions to meet clients' travel needs and negotiate contracts.
- Train and guide new clients to effectively use the platform.
- Monitor and track KPIs, sales pipelines, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 3–7 years of experience in business development, preferably in the B2B travel or hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Deep knowledge of the travel industry, including global distribution systems (GDS) and corporate travel management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and strategize effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and travel industry software.
