As a candidate you will register with the Adecco H.R., kadrovsko svetovanje, d.o.o., Ameriška ulica 8, 1000 Ljubljana, VAT ID: SI54401747, registration number: 1519140000 (“the company”), which is part of the Adecco Group. This registration will be done for the purposes of applying for the WeLearn Project of Centre of Excellence in Finance (CEF), Cankarjeva 18, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia, for which we, the company, are conducting search, pre-selection and selection process for the WeLearn Project, based on contractual agreement with CEF.
During registration, the company will collect your data and use it to provide access to our services and to maintain our cooperation in the future. Our Privacy Statement (link below) explains how we collect and use your information and what your rights are.
If you choose to provide us with specific types of personal data so-called “sensitive data”, where we do not ask you to do so, you agree that we may use such data in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Statement.

PRIVACY STATEMENT (“ADECCO” – project “WE LEAD”)

We Adecco H.R., kadrovsko svetovanje, d.o.o., Ameriška ulica 8, 1000 Ljubljana, VAT ID: SI54401747, registration number: 1519140000 (hereinafter referred to as “ADECCO”, “we” or “us”) understand that your trust in us, is ADECCO’s most important asset. As such, your privacy is essential for us.
This privacy statement (hereinafter referred to as “Privacy Statement”) is applicable, inter alia, to (i) our website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”), which is subject to separate Terms of use, (ii) all (commercial) relations between ADECCO and its customers, prospects and business partners and (iii) when visiting the building/office of ADECCO.
This Privacy Statement includes information about the personal data collected by ADECCO, as well as the way ADECCO uses and processes this personal data.
ADECCO wishes to emphasize that it always attempts to act in accordance with (i) the Slovenian Privacy Law on privacy protection in relation to the processing of personal data and/or (ii) the EU Regulation of 2016 concerning the protection of individuals with regards to the processing of personal data, regarding the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC and (iii) all (future) Slovenian laws regarding the implementation of this Regulation.
Visiting the Website (landing page) related to ADECCO, the project WeLead, or appealing on the services of ADECCO, subscribing for the newsletter, any communication with ADECCO, creation of a (demo-) account, subscription to a seminar/webinar/event and downloading files implies your explicit approval (through disclosure of your personal information or opt-in) of the Privacy Statement and consequently how we collect, use and process your personal data. In case of using other ADECCO services (such as applying in the candidate database, apply for open positions), you will be informed and give your consent to a separate Privacy Statement.
Please read this Privacy Statement in conjunction with ADECCO’s legal disclaimer and cookie policy (scroll down).
It may seem obvious but, in this Statement, you will be referred to as ‘the candidate’ or ‘you’.
Types of personal data
ADECCO can collect and process the following personal data:
- – Title, – Name, – Surname, – Position, – Function, – Nationality, – Sex, – E-mail address, – Telephone number (landline and/or mobile phone), – Password, – Residence address, – ID number – Passport, – Birth date, – Social media data, – Camera and video footage, – Company name, – Company address, – Geographical location data, – IP-address.
ADECCO can also collect and process:
- All personal data provided in the “free field” or “upload” field when completing a contact form, and – All personal data freely provided to ADECCO (e.g. in light of correspondence with ADECCO).
- details of any disabilities and any accommodations we may need to make for you in the workplace; and
- in some cases, we will also collect other sensitive information than only details related to disability, when we are permitted to do so by law; we would like also to inform you that we will perform whatever assessments are necessary as part of the selection process, which may require the information submitted to be processed and that it will include the results of the assessment in our recruitment database as part of the selection process;
You are also informed that, as part of the selection process, the Adecco Group hiring entity may consult details of your public profile on social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), and other public information and records, with the sole purpose of assessing and ascertaining your experience and professional skills, and to know whether your profile is consistent with the Adecco Group culture and values;
ADECCO also automatically collects anonymous information regarding your use of the Website. As such, ADECCO shall, for example, automatically log which sections of the Website and Platform you visit, which web browser you use, which website you visited when you obtained access to the Website. We cannot identify you through these data, but it allows ADECCO to draw up statistics regarding the use of the Website.
Methods of personal data collection:
These personal data are collected in the context of:
- Visiting the Website,
- Collaboration with ADECCO,
- Incoming and outgoing correspondence with ADECCO
- Visiting the office/building of ADECCO,,
- Creation of an account,
- Submitting an application (including all documentation) through the Website,
- Requesting an offer,
- Subscription to the newsletter (whether or not through the Website),
- Appealing on the services of ADECCO, whether or not through the Website and/or whether or not via the Website, a mobile device or other devices,
- Subscription to a webinar/seminar/event/etc.,
- Exchanging business cards or online contacts through social media,
- Verification of your identity (e.g. when a data subject contacts customer service),
- Registration for events and workshops,
- Taking pictures, videos and minutes during events,
- Recording webinars and conference calls after prior consent,
- Registering visitors when entering the building.
All personal data, collected by ADECCO, are thus expressly and voluntarily provided by you.
Providing certain personal data is (sometimes) a requirement to be able to enjoy certain services (e.g. to gain access to certain parts of the Website, to subscribe to newsletters, to participate in certain activities and events). In this respect, it shall be indicated which data must be provided mandatory and which data is optional.
Use of personal data:
ADECCO can use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Performance of the agreement with ADECCO (incl. follow-up thereof),
- Responding to questions (whether or not received through the contact form),
- Optimising the quality, management and content of the Website,
- Sending newsletters,
- Creating statistics,
- Drawing up a quote,
- Follow-up after a meeting,
- Creation of an account (free or paying) and the confirmation thereof,
- Providing support/assistance (e.g. in case of problems),
- Send targeted marketing and advertising, updates and promotional offers based on your communication preferences and – where applicable – upon explicit consent,
- Conducting customer satisfaction studies, surveys and other market research,
- Registration of visitors at the office/building of ADECCO,
- Confirmation of the subscription of a webinar/seminar/event/etc.,
- Legally required publications.
Processing takes place on the following legal grounds, as the case may be:
- You have given consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes,
- Processing is necessary for the performance of the agreement with ADECCO or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into an agreement or project assignment,
- Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which ADECCO is subject,
- Processing is necessary in order to protect your vital interests or of another natural person,
- Processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest,
- Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by ADECCO or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, which require protection of personal data.
Disclosure of personal data to third parties
ADECCO shall not disclose your personal data to third parties, unless it is necessary in the context of performing the agreement and optimisation thereof (including but not limited to ADECCO). In this respect, your personal data may be disclosed to payment providers, software providers, cloud partner, transport partners, external consultants and service providers.
If it is necessary that ADECCO discloses your personal data to third parties, the third party concerned is required to use your personal data in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Statement.
As mentioned above, we usually disclose your personal information to third parties. This is done to complete the purposes set out above for the purpose of WeLead project. We do this in the following circumstances:
- To our clients/prospective employers. We will share your data with CEF who is running the project We Lead, and with other CEF’s partner organizations for the assignments you may be interested in, or who are interested in your profile, related to your application to the project WeLead. They owe contractual and other confidentiality obligations in relation to your data to us, and to you, and will respect those obligations separately from ADECCO, also in its relationship to its partner organizations.
- To our suppliers. We will, for example, engage a supplier to carry out administrative and operational work in support of our relationship with you. The supplier(s) will be subject to contractual and other legal obligations to preserve the confidentiality of your data and to respect your privacy, and will only have access to the data they need to perform their functions; the relevant suppliers are typically IT suppliers (who host or support our IT systems, including information about you), premises management companies (who look after physical security at our buildings, and therefore need to know about you to allow access to our buildings) and back office finance and accounting management providers (who need to handle details of candidates in order to process accounts payable and receivable). We also engage suppliers who provide IT technology services and solutions, which might include video interview and skills assessment tools.
- To government or law enforcement authorities. We will share your data with government, police, regulators or law enforcement authorities if, at our sole discretion, we consider that we are legally obliged or authorised to do so or it would be prudent to do so.
In all other cases, ADECCO will not sell, hire out or pass on your personal data to third parties, except when it (i) has obtained your permission to this end and (ii) has completed a data processing agreement with the third party in question, which contains the necessary guarantees regarding confidentiality and privacy compliance of your personal data.
Cross-border processing of personal data
Any transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) by ADECCO to a recipient whose domicile or registered office is in a country which does not fall under the adequacy decision enacted by the European Commission, shall be governed by the provisions of a data transfer agreement, which shall contain (i) the standard contractual clauses, as referred to in the ‘European Commission decision of 5 February 2010 (Decision 2010/87/EC)’, or (ii) any other mechanism pursuant to privacy legislation, or any other regulations pertaining to the processing of personal data.
Storage of personal data
Unless a longer storage period is required or justified (i) by law or (ii) through compliance with another legal obligation, ADECCO shall only store your personal data for the period necessary to achieve and fulfil the purpose in question, as specified in the Privacy Statement under ‘Use of personal data’.
Your privacy rights
In light of the processing of your personal data, you enjoy the following privacy rights:
- Right of access to your personal data
- Right to rectification, completion or update of your personal data
- Right to delete your personal data (‘right to be forgotten’).

Do you have to give us the personal information we ask for?
You are not obliged to provide your personal information to us, but it would not be possible for us to work with you, or provide our services to you, if you do not provide us with a required minimum. It may also limit the services that you can receive from us if you, in some instances, choose to provide us with limited personal information.
Do we process information about you without any human intervention at all?
We do not make any automated decisions solely on automatic processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
Security of personal data
ADECCO undertakes to take reasonable, physical, technological and organisational precautions in order to avoid (i) unauthorised access to your personal information, and (ii) loss, abuse or alteration of your personal data.
ADECCO shall store all personal data, which it has collected onsite and in the cloud with data centre(s) in and outside the EU.
Notwithstanding ADECCO’ security policy, the checks it carries out and the actions it proposes in this context, an infallible level of security cannot be guaranteed. Since no method of transmission or forwarding over the internet, or any method of electronic storage is 100% secure, ADECCO is, in this context, not in a position to guarantee absolute security.
Finally, the security of your account will also partly depend on the confidentiality and complexity of your password. ADECCO will never ask for your password, meaning that you will never be required to communicate it personally. If you have nonetheless communicated your password to a third party – for example because this third party has indicated that it wishes to offer additional services – this third party shall have access to your account and your personal data via your password. In such cases, you are liable for the transactions which occur as a result of the use made of your account. ADECCO therefore strongly advises you, if you observe that someone has accessed your account, to immediately change your password and contact us.
Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, you should be aware that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Dashboard or any third party; for this reason, any transmission is at your own risk. We will use strict operational procedures and adequate, technical and organizational security measures to prevent any unauthorised access, change, deletion or transmission of your personal information.
You are responsible for keeping your login details to the Dashboard safe, in particular the password that we have given you or that you have chosen. These login credentials are for your own use. You are not permitted to share your credentials or other account details with any other person(s). We have the right to disable any user identification, code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms.
Update Privacy Statement
ADECCO is entitled to update this Privacy Statement by posting a new version on the Website. As such, it is strongly recommended to regularly consult the Website and the page displaying the Privacy Statement, to make sure that you are aware of any changes.

The Website may potentially contain hyperlinks to other websites. When you click on one of these links, you may be redirected to another website or internet source that could collect information about you through cookies or other technologies. ADECCO does not bear any responsibility, liability or control authority over these other websites or internet resources, nor about their collection, use and disclosure of your personal data.
